Rams' Hekker regains passing touch on fake punt in Pro Bowl
Johnny Hekker didn't get much of a chance to show off the skills that earned him his second trip to the Pro Bowl.
The Los Angeles Rams' Pro Bowl punter had only one attempt in Sunday's Pro Bowl, but he left Honolulu feeling good after rediscovering the passing skills that seemed to elude him this season.

Yes, @RamsNFL punter Johnny Hekker. #ProBowlhttps://t.co/Fydli0S6MD
Hekker was successful on a fake punt attempt called by Team Rice coach Andy Reid of the Kansas City Chiefs, rolling out to his right and finding Seattle Seahawks rookie Tyler Lockett on a 10-yard pass for a first down.
That completion was for my Sister in law Catie! It's her birthday today! #Aloooooha baby! Gotta love roasting @RSherman_25 for a first!

The fourth-year punter, who played quarterback in high school, took great pride in the fact that his pass came at the expense of Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman, making note of it afterward on his Twitter account.
Hekker, the only player to lead the league in gross and net yardage and punts inside the 20 since the NFL started keeping track of the latter category in 1976, was only 1-for-4 on pass attempts in 2015. He missed his last three passes after entering the season with a gaudy 5-for-6 mark.
