Raiders waive 12 to get down to 75-player limit

The Oakland Raiders waived fullback Manase Tonga and 11 others on Monday to get down to the 75-player limit.

Quarterback Kyle Newhall-Caballero, linebacker Korey Bosworth, defensive ends Mason Brodine and Wayne Dorsey, safety Aaron Henry, cornerback Terrail Lambert, wide receivers Thomas Mayo and DeAundre Muhammad, and safety Chaz Powell were also among the cuts.

Additionally, the Raiders waived-injured fullback Rashawn Jackson and offensive lineman Ed Wang.

None of the moves were surprising. Tonga was the only player on Oakland's roster in 2011 when he played 11 games, three as a starter in place of the injured Marcel Reece.
