Raiders release longtime Carr target, trim their 90-man roster

Per NFL rules, the Raiders' roster has to be at 75 players by Tuesday afternoon.

That means making tough personnel decisions -- like cutting the former No. 3 overall pick or a favorite target of quarterback Derek Carr.

Here's the list of players chopped by the Silver and Black so far:

WR Kenbrell Thompkins

RB Trent Richardson

S Jonathan Dowling

OL Quinterrius Eatmon

QB Cody Fajardo

WR Josh Harper

CB James Dockery
