Pioli signs on with SiriusXM
Scott Pioli has a new job.
The former Kansas City Chiefs general manager has signed to work with SiriusXM NFL Radio, FOXSports.com has learned. Pioli will begin providing analysis Thursday at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.
Pioli, who has more than 20 years of NFL front-office experience, spent the past four seasons in Kansas City. After the Chiefs finished with an NFL-worst 2-14 record in 2012, Pioli was fired when team owner Clark Hunt hired Andy Reid as head coach and to run Kansas City’s football operations.
The Chiefs did make the playoffs in 2010 under Pioli’s watch. Pioli, 47, also was an intricate part of the personnel staff that helped New England win three Super Bowl titles in the past decade.
Pioli will appear on various SiriusXM NFL shows throughout 2013.
