Patriots think Haynesworth will fit in

BY foxsports • July 28, 2011

Two New England Patriots defensive linemen who could be starting alongside Albert Haynesworth think he'll fit in well.

Defensive end Ty Warren said Thursday the team structure would make the transition easy. Nose tackle Vince Wilfork, who could see more time at end to make room for Haynesworth, said a newcomer like Haynesworth will see how the Patriots conduct themselves and shouldn't be a problem.

The Patriots obtained Haynesworth from the Washington Redskins on Thursday for a 2013 fifth-round draft pick. The trade was confirmed by a person familiar with the deal who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because neither team had announced it.

Haynesworth signed a seven-year, $100 million with Washington before the 2009 season but feuded constantly with coach Mike Shanahan last year.
