Packers sign DT Jordan Miller to active roster

Published Dec. 11, 2012 11:19 p.m. ET

The Green Bay Packers signed defensive tackle Jordan Miller to the active roster from the practice squad Tuesday and released linebacker Vic So'oto.

The Packers made the moves two days after playing Sunday night with only four defensive linemen because of injuries to defensive ends C.J. Wilson and Mike Neal.

Miller, a 6-foot-1, 309-pound former Southern University player, was signed to Green Bay's practice squad Oct. 23. He spent the first 15 games last season on Chicago's practice squad before being signed to the active roster for the season finale.

So'oto appeared in one game for the Packers this season.
