Packers Barnett hurts wrist, S Burnett hurts knee

Published Oct. 3, 2010 7:13 p.m. ET

Packers linebacker Nick Barnett has returned to Green Bay's game with the Detroit Lions after having X-rays taken on his left wrist, but rookie safety Morgan Burnett left for X-rays on his knee.

Results of both players' tests weren't immediately available. Burnett was questionable to return, but Barnett returned a few minutes after leaving and was involved in two tackles in his first series back.

Burnett was Green Bay's third-round pick this season and earned the starting job after safety Atari Bigby's injury. Derrick Martin replaced Burnett.
