Orakpo wants Titans fans to 'come loud and ready' on Sunday

With AFC South rival Indianapolis set to visit Tennessee on Sunday, Titans linebacker Brian Orakpo issued a challenge to the team's fans.

“A message to the fans: Ya’ll come loud and ready,’’ Orakpo said, per the team's official website. “This is a brand new team with a lot of enthusiasm, hungry guys eager to win. Come ready and loud and give us a true home field advantage.”

The Titans play their first home game of the season this week after splitting the first two games of the year. While the Colts enter the game 0-2, beating Indianapolis has proven to be difficult for the Titans in recent years.

Indianapolis has won 11 of the past 12 meetings between the two teams, including seven straight.

“We have a tough task at hand,’’ Orakpo said. “This is a great measuring stick on how this season can go.”
