The Dallas Cowboys (11-2) will be playing on Sunday night for the second consecutive week but hope the result will be different this time as they host the streaking Tampa Bay Buccaneers (8-5) as seven-point home favorites at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.
The Buccaneers bring an impressive five-game winning streak—both straight up and against the spread—with them to Arlington’s AT&T Stadium, where the Cowboys are 5-1 SU and 4-1-1 ATS so far this season.
Tampa Bay has upset victories against the Chicago Bears, Kansas City Chiefs, Seattle Seahawks and San Diego Chargers as an underdog during the team’s streak while Dallas is coming off a 10-7 loss to the New York Giants as a 3.5-point road favorite in last week’s SNF matchup.
The Giants (9-4) have another tough home game early on Sunday as they host the NFC North-leading Detroit Lions (9-4) as 4.5-point home chalk. The good news for the Lions is that the visiting team has gone 7-2 SU and 8-1 ATS in the past nine meetings, and they are also 6-2 ATS in their previous eight games as road underdogs.
In the AFC, the Pittsburgh Steelers (8-5) will go for their fifth straight win when they visit the Cincinnati Bengals (5-7-1) as 3.5-point road favorites. This AFC North rivalry has seen the Steelers win six of the past seven meetings and go 15-5-1 ATS in the last 21 games between the teams. Later on Sunday, the New England Patriots (11-2) can clinch the AFC East and a first-round bye in the playoffs with a win against the Denver Broncos (8-5) as three-point road favorites. But the Patriots have struggled at Denver in the past, going just 1-6 SU and ATS in the past seven road meetings, and the defending Super Bowl champion Broncos desperately need a home victory here to keep their slim playoff hopes alive.
The Oakland Raiders (10-3) are chasing New England and the Kansas City Chiefs (10-3) for the top seed in the AFC, and they will visit the San Diego Chargers (5-8) as three-point road chalk in another late-afternoon game. The Raiders have gone 3-10 SU in the past 13 road meetings at San Diego but have covered the spread in six of the last seven.
