NFL looking into Jets QB Sanchez's offseason camp

BY foxsports • September 12, 2010

The NFL is investigating a complaint by an unidentified team that the New York Jets violated the league's offseason training rules during a camp organized by quarterback Mark Sanchez because coaches were present for some workouts.

The team says in a statement Sunday that the NFL is ''reviewing the matter and has our full cooperation.''

ESPN.com first reported that the unidentified team claims Sanchez's ''Jets West Camp'' in Southern California in July violated rules when coach Rex Ryan and offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer watched some sessions. It also reported that the NFL Players Association didn't file a complaint.

The Jets could be subject to a warning, fine, forfeiture of a draft pick or loss of organized team practices.
