The latest updated inactive players list for the New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys game in Week 1 of the 2016 NFL season.

An NFC East rivalry game will highlight the Sunday evening schedule as the first full day of NFL action kicks off for the 2016 season. It’s the New York Giants visiting the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium, where a two-time Super Bowl winning quarterback takes on a rookie hopeful eager to make a name for himself.

Will it be Eli Manning or Dak Prescott’s day in this Week 1 battle?

For the Cowboys, much like it did a season ago, their season received a tough blow when starting QB Tony Romo suffered a back injury in the preseason. That injury has Romo sidelined for weeks, meaning Prescott will have a large role with the team. In addition, heralded rookie running back Ezekiel Elliott is on the field for Dallas, whose fans are eager to see what the former Ohio State standout has to offer.

Meanwhile, the New York Giants missed out on the playoffs last season but are considered top contenders to win the division. With Dallas losing Romo and Philadelphia losing veteran Sam Bradford via trade, Manning and the Giants have as clear a path to the division title as they could’ve hoped for. The Giants will also welcome the return of one of their star receivers, Victor Cruz, who was out due to injury and surgery for nearly two years.

Giants:

OT Will Beatty

OLB B.J. Goodson

QB Josh Johnson

WR Roger Lewis

RB Paul Perkins

NT Robert Thomas

DB Mykkele Thompson

Cowboys:

SS Kavon Frazier

RB Darius Jackson

G Ronald Leary

OLB Mark Nzeocha

QB Tony Romo

DB Dax Swanson

DE Charles Tapper

It’s always an exciting game when the Giants and Cowboys meet up for an NFL battle. While Tony Romo is not on the field, the two Dallas rookies on offense are intriguing. Eli Manning will have his top receivers on the field as well. Which of these two NFC East teams will be standing tall when the clock hits zero?
