New Orleans Saints' Zach Strief guides Andrus Peat during camp

The No. 13 pick in the 2015 NFL draft has had his fair share of ups and downs to this point. While Andrus Peat is still learning what life is like in the NFL, offensive line coach Bret Ingalls is still happy with the player the New Orleans Saints drafted. According to Evan Woodbery of NOLA.com, Ingalls said Peat is "exactly what we thought he was."

Even with that being said, it doesn't mean that Peat isn't learning on the fly, as Ingalls explains.

"We're at a position with him where we're talking about, 'How are you setting yourself up? How are you putting yourself in a spot to be successful?' So we're emphasizing what's right and then working on what's wrong," Ingalls told NOLA.com. "I think, even on those reps where you might say, 'Well, he's getting beat around the edge.' No, there's something positive happening. He just needs more reps."

Most importantly, he's getting plenty of help from veteran lineman Zach Strief. Early on, Strief said he was going to help groom Peat and do what he could for the rookie. It seems as though he's a man of his word.

When speaking about Strief's help, Peat talked about how much it's helped him improve.

"I think it helps a lot," Peat said. "Every time I take a rep, he's watching my technique and kind of critiquing me. Whatever he sees, he tells me. If I've done it wrong, he shows me how to do it the right way. He's been a big help to me so far."

It's great to see the two linemen working together, even if Strief knows that eventually Peat will likely be the man to take his job.
