Fresh off winning the NFL MVP award, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers expressed interest in hosting "Saturday Night Live."

The 28-year-old, who appears in a successful string of "State Farm" commercials, reportedly talked to some "SNL" cast members at the Super Bowl festivities in Indianapolis.

"I'm hopeful that we can figure something out there," Rodgers said Tuesday on ESPN 540 radio in Milwaukee.

Rodgers appeared Sunday on NBC's pregame coverage of the Giants' 21-17 victory over the Patriots.
