Morse is the latest Chiefs lineman to try out at right guard

BY foxsports • June 18, 2015

One spot on Andy Reid's ever-shuffling offensive line has been highlighted more than the rest.

This week, second-round rookie Mitch Morse took his turn at right guard, according to ESPN. He's the fourth player the Chiefs' head coach has looked at for the gig so far.

ESPN's Adam Teicher called the decision a curious move. Reid's practice time is limited and growing smaller by the day, so his choice to showcase Morse in a hotly-contested spot could mean something.

Offensive linemen Jeff Allen, Zach Fulton and Laurent Duvernay-Tardif have all had their turn at the spot. It's Fulton's job to lose from last season, and Morse could be the one to take it.
