The Miami Dolphins and the Miami area were lucky enough to miss the Hurricane Matthew onslaught. While they experienced heavy rain and wind, it could have been much worse.

Over the last two days a lot of talk circulated about when the Dolphins would play their next game which is to be hosted in Miami. Rumors began early that the game would move to Tennessee giving the Titans an additional home game. There was also speculation that the game could move to a neutral location.
With Matthew staying far enough off shore the game now appears to be set for Sunday afternoon at 1:00 p.m.
While the game looks to be on schedule the question is who will show up for it? Many fans come from across the state to watch the game and everyone North of West Palm will not be heading south.
Just outside Daytona Beach in Deltona, my own father and sister are holed up inside their house as the storm currently blows by them. They currently have no power and tree damage is everywhere. Both have tickets to Sunday’s game but will now likely not be going.
It’s still possible that the game could be moved to Monday night or even scheduled later in the afternoon, it does appear now that the game will go on as scheduled. Albeit with a likely empty stadium.
