Matt Ryan says having Leonard Hankerson 'makes us a better offense'
While Leonard Hankerson has missed the last two games with a hamstring injury, it's been obvious that his presence has been missed as well.
It's unknown if he'll be able to return in Week 11 against the Indianapolis Colts, but as Vaughn McClure of ESPN reports, one player who badly wants him back out there is Matt Ryan.
"Hank has had a great year for us when he's been able to go," Ryan told ESPN, "and I think having him back opens up a lot of things for everybody. It makes us a better offense. And so, certainly good to have him out there practicing today."
Hankerson should not only help to ease the pressure off Julio Jones, but he was also having a nice run himself also before the injury. He's totaled 22 receptions for 291 yards and two touchdowns this season, while racking up 38 targets through seven games.
