Matt Prater is the NFL's only perfect field-goal kicker left in 2015
There isn't much that the 4-8 Detroit Lions do well, but field-goal kicking has been one of the team's strong points.
Lions kicker Matt Prater is a perfect 17-for-17 on the season, making him the only kicker in the NFL who hasn't missed yet.
Although Prater is perfect, 20 kickers have made more field goals than him. On top of that, 21 players have hit a field goal longer than Prater's long of 52 yards in 2015. A total of 19 players have produced more points than the Detroit kicker's 75.

Before this season Prater's most efficient year was 2013 in Denver, when he made 25 out of 26 field-goal attempts (96.2 percent). That was also the year he set a new NFL record with a successful 64-yard attempt.
Prater will have to stay perfect for at least his next eight attempts in order to top that career-best rate.
