Locked on Chiefs - How to cage the Jaguars

The Chiefs injury report keeps getting longer and longer it seems every day.
On Thursday Jeremy Maclin was added to the injury report with a groin injury and did not practice. Spencer Ware, Parker Ehinger, and Jaye Howard also did not practice. Mitchell Schwartz, Tamba Hali and Derrick Johnson were upgraded to limited in practice on Thursday and DJ White continued his limited practice as well as Alex Smith. The Chiefs look to be without several key pieces on Sunday but they aren’t playing a team that should give them much of a fight in Arrowhead.
Running Back position still unsettled
With Charcandrick West in line to get the lion share of the carries in the Chiefs offense, Bishop Sankey looks to be the primary backup. Thoughts early in the week were that Darrin Reaves would be brought up from the practice squad but that has yet to happen. I have a hard time believing KC will go into the game with only two healthy RB’s but Hill, Thomas and Sherman give them other options to run the ball.
Kansas City has to get into an offensive rhythm early against the Jaguars on Sunday. They need to get an early lead and ride their running game and short passing game to a victory. If they can find a way to make it through the game healthy then they will have a week to prepare for the Panthers. KC needs to get their starters back in the next couple of weeks so they can make a deep run into the playoffs.
