Lavonte David takes all the momentum back in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ game against the Seattle Seahawks on this 53-yard fumble recovery.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were playing their best game of the season against the Seattle Seahawks. Tampa Bay was 5-5 on the year entering Sunday’s huge game against the 7-2-1 Seahawks.

The Buccaneers needed its defense to step up in big moments. It may have gotten one from star linebacker Lavonte David. Here he is forcing a fumble on Seahawks tight end Jimmy Graham and taking it 53 yards in the other direction.

David stopped and stripped Graham near the Buccaneers’ end zone. He would have scored the defensive touchdown to seal it against the Seahawks if Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson didn’t bring him down in the other red zone.

Tampa Bay was already up 14-5 on the Buccaneers. Nobody scored any points in the second half of this important NFC game. That was Seattle’s best offensive drive up to that point and David thwarted it all on his own.

It would set up the Buccaneers with a great opportunity to seal the game, but quarterback Jameis Winston would be picked off by Kam Chancellor in the end zone while trying to target wide receiver Mike Evans.

A win over Seattle would keep the Buccaneers only a game back of the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC South standings. It would be a monumental win at home for the Buccaneers to beat a team of this caliber at Raymond James Stadium. Until recently, the Buccaneers had struggled to close out its opposition at home.

Seattle is driving late in the game down two scores. Can Tampa Bay hold on defensively to keep the Seahawks at bay and win this huge NFC game? A win over Seattle would help the Buccaneers in the NFC Wild Card standings race as well.
