LA Rams re-sign CB Troy Hill to practice squad after arrest
THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. (AP) The Los Angeles Rams have re-signed cornerback Troy Hill to their practice squad, one day after waiving him in the wake of his arrest last weekend.
The Rams made the move Wednesday.
Los Angeles waived Hill on Tuesday, three days after he was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. He was involved in a crash on a freeway near Encino early Saturday morning, and the Rams deactivated him for Sunday's game against Miami.
Rams coach Jeff Fisher said he believed in second chances while announcing his decision to waive Hill on Tuesday.
Hill has started four games for the Rams, and he is their fourth-leading tackler. The Rams claimed him off waivers from New England on Dec. 31.
