Kenny Vaccaro talks like a man prepared for a turnaround

There was a noticeable difference between the Kenny Vaccaro of his rookie season and the second-year Vaccaro. This year? Well, Vaccaro is ready to get back to playing like he did in his rookie season, according to Larry Holder of NOLA.com.

"The main thing for me is coming off last year and getting back to my rookie shape and high condition," Vaccaro told NOLA.com. "Like I was saying ... my rookie year, I could run around the field all day like my hair was on fire."

Vaccaro continued when talking about

"That's what I'm back to, man. I've got my legs under me. That's what I can do. That's the type of game I can play. It feels good. I worked my ass off all offseason so I won't have any regrets at all. I didn't think I did enough last offseason."

Vaccaro is saying the right things, but his turnaround performance in 2015 may be key to the success of the Saints defense. Can Vaccaro get back to playing at a high level? The former Longhorn believes it's more than a possibility.
