Julio Jones one of multiple Falcons at luncheon for Charleston church

The Atlanta Falcons are doing their all to reach out to the families and youth group members of Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church. This is the church in Charleston, South Carolina which was tragically attacked on June 17. Nine were left dead after the terrible shootings, and many people from all over the world have reached out to the church and community.

According to Vaughn McClure of ESPN, you can add Julio Jones and members of the Falcons to the list of those who reached out. The group visited the church, while Jones spoke about why it was so important to come out.

"Just to show everybody here that we support them here in Atlanta," Jones told ESPN. "It was kind of a national experience that everybody went through, in their own kind of way. This could have happened anywhere. I look at it like it could have happened back home in Alabama. You just have to show people that you support them and you're here for them."

McClure explains that along with Jones, safety Ricardo Allen, cornerbacks Phillip Adams and Jonathon Mincy and defensive tackle Cliff Matthews all came.

It's great to see Jones and some of his other teammates step up to put smiles on a few faces during such a tough time.
