Julio Jones comes to the defense of Matt Ryan once again

It hasn't been just Matt Ryan struggling for the Atlanta Falcons in recent weeks, but anytime a starting quarterback struggles how Ryan has, he's going to get the bulk of the attention.

While that's no surprise, Ryan's teammates and coaches have come to the defense of the quarterback. Most recently, it was star wide receiver Julio Jones who had Ryan's back, as D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

“Nothing is wrong with Matt Ryan,” Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “Matt Ryan is doing a good job for us. You can look at anybody’s stats and they are going to have turnovers. … Just like I’m going to drop a ball. We just have to stick together and keep fighting. Hopefully, we’ll get this thing turned around.”

Long-time Falcon Roddy White also echoed that mindset as well.

“He’ll be all right,” wide receiver Roddy White said. “He’ll be fine. We’ll get it together. I promise you. We are going to fix it.”

While there's no question that Ryan has a ton of talent, he's going to need to get things going sooner than later for the Falcons to get into the postseason in 2015.
