Josh Norman admits it: I kind of do miss being thrown to
You can't blame the man. Josh Norman had four interceptions through the first four games of 2015, and was putting together some ridiculous numbers. Since that point, well, teams have essentially chosen to avoid throwing the ball in his direction.
As Jonathan Jones of The Charlotte Observer points out, the Seattle Seahawks didn't test him once, while the Philadelphia Eagles did once, and Norman batted away a pass that would have been a touchdown.
Well, after becoming the definition of a "shutdown corner," Norman is getting the treatment, but he doesn't seem to be a huge fan of it.
“I kind of do (miss being thrown to),” Norman told The Charlotte Observer. “I’m not going to lie. At first I was like, man, but now I kind of do. I want to be a part of the game. Now it’s trying to find other ways.”
Being a part of the action is always fun, but Norman's ridiculous start to 2015 has made life a whole lot easier for this defense. Best of all, we probably shouldn't expect it to change anytime soon.
