Johnson out against Raiders

Published Oct. 9, 2011 1:08 p.m. ET

Andre Johnson is inactive for the Houston Texans' game against the Oakland Raiders.

The star receiver is expected to be out a couple of weeks after undergoing a minor procedure to repair a right hamstring injury earlier this week. Johnson was injured in a win against Pittsburgh last Sunday, and Jacoby Jones will start in his place.

Quarterback T.J. Yates and running back Derrick Ward also are on the Texans' inactive list.

Sunday's inactive list for the Raiders includes fullback Marcel Reece, cornerback Chris Johnson and defensive end Matt Shaughnessy. Manase Tonga will start at fullback for Reece, DeMarcus Van Dyke is in the lineup for Johnson and Jarvis Moss will start for Shaughnessy.
