Johnson inactive for Bills against Bengals

Published Oct. 13, 2013 1:29 p.m. ET

Buffalo Bills receiver Stevie Johnson is inactive with a back injury against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.

It ends the second-longest active starting streak among NFL receivers at 48 games. Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald has started 50 games.

Johnson injured his back in Buffalo's 37-24 loss to Cleveland on Oct. 3.

Pro Bowl safety Jairus Byrd (plantar fasciitis) and cornerback Stephon Gilmore (broken left hand) will both make their season debuts for the Bills.
