Jets' Powell, Wilkerson, Anderson sit out practice

Published Oct. 18, 2017 8:00 p.m. ET

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) New York Jets running back Bilal Powell, defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson and wide receiver Robby Anderson all sat out practice with injuries.

They are uncertain to play at Miami on Sunday.

Powell missed the Jets' game against New England last Sunday with a strained calf. He wore a helmet during warmups, but coach Todd Bowles says New York's leading rusher did not participate in practice.

Wilkerson has been dealing with shoulder and foot injuries, but has not missed any games.

Anderson injured an ankle in the Jets' 24-17 loss to the Patriots.

Running back Matt Forte (knee, toe) and defensive end Kony Ealy (shoulder) were both limited.
