Jets DT Damon Harrison named best run defender by Pro Football Focus
The New York Jets have two big names on defense set to hit free agency in March. Those players would be Damon Harrison and Muhammad Wilkerson. The former is an overlooked guy on a very talented defensive line, but he deserves plenty of recognition for the season he had.
Harrison made a career-high 72 tackles in 2015 to go along with a half-sack and one forced fumble. He's not known as a pass rusher at the nose tackle position, but his production comes in being a run stuffer. He excelled in that area, and he was named the league's best run defender by Pro Football Focus.

Harrison will be tough for the Jets to keep given the money he'll command on the open market. He'll also be a player they'll sorely miss if he does indeed leave. Finding a big run stopper to play nose tackle between Leonard Williams and Sheldon Richardson will have to be a top priority this offseason.
