Jason Peters voted No. 40 on NFL Network's Top 100 list
Left tackle Jason Peters turned in another dominant season in 2014. A perfect fit for Chip Kelly's zone-blocking scheme, Peters paved the way in the running game and stoned edge rushers in pass protection. Kelly's up tempo scheme best utilizes Peters' ability to get to the second level and take out linebackers in the running game.
Peters was named the 40th-best player in a vote by the players, but the advanced analysts over at Pro Football Focus saw things differently. Peters was named PFF's 14th-best player overall in 2014 according to their "Top 101" list. He finished with their highest run blocking grade and highest grade overall among all offensive tackles.
