Jaguars without Considine, Colts without Richard

Published Oct. 3, 2010 8:05 p.m. ET

The Jacksonville Jaguars are without starting safety Sean Considine against Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts.

Considine missed practice this week because of a hamstring injury. He had been listed as doubtful. Gerald Alexander, a starter last season who rejoined the team Monday, will start in his place.

As expected, receiver Anthony Gonzalez (ankle), receiver Pierre Garcon (hamstring) and running back Donald Brown (hamstring) are inactive for the Colts. Guard Jamey Richard (shoulder) also is out, moving Kyle DeVan back into the starting lineup.

Safety Bob Sanders (biceps), defensive back Brandon King (hamstring), linebacker Kavell Conner (foot) and defensive tackle Ricardo Mathews also are inactive for the Colts.
