Jaguars QB Henne to play entire 1st half at Bears

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Chad Henne will play the entire first half of Thursday's preseason game at Chicago.

Coach Gus Bradley divulged the plan Tuesday, saying he is leaning toward giving rookie Blake Bortles the entire second half. If so, quarterbacks Ricky Stanzi and rookie Stephen Morris won't get in the game.

Bradley says he might alter the two-quarterback design to get Stanzi and Morris on the field late, ''but that's what we're leaning towards now.''

Henne completed 4 of 7 passes for 30 yards in the team's preseason opener against Tampa Bay last week.

Bortles, the third overall pick in May's NFL draft, was 7 of 11 passing for 117 yards. Bortles' numbers would have been better had receivers not dropped three of his passes.
