Jaguars could be without LB Durant against Bills

Published Nov. 19, 2009 8:20 p.m. ET

The Jacksonville Jaguars could be without another defensive starter Sunday against Buffalo. Linebacker Justin Durant missed his second straight practice Thursday because of a concussion and has not been cleared to play. Durant says he suffered a "mild concussion" in the third quarter of last week's 24-22 win at the New York Jets. He says he didn't tell anybody and kept playing. Durant doesn't have a headache, but feels "cloudy." He underwent baseline testing Thursday but was not cleared to practice. Durant is second on the team with 83 tackles. He says this is his first concussion "on record," but admitted he's felt like this before. The Jaguars (5-4) already are without cornerback Rashean Mathis (groin injury).
