J.J. Watt unanimous selection to All-Pro team
Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt continued his award-winning week with his selection Friday to the 2015 Associated Press NFL All-Pro team.
Watt and Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson were the only unanimous selections by the panel of 50 member members. It's the fourth straight season Watt has been named to the All-Pro team.
The 26-year-old Watt, who played through a broken hand the last four weeks of the season, finished the year with a league-high 17.5 sacks.
Friday marked the second time Watt has been honored this week. He was named AFC Defensive Player of the Week on Wednesday after his three-sack performance in Houston's Week 17 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Watt forced a fumble and recovered as fumble as well in the victory.
Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins was named to the second team. The three year veteran had a breakout season, catching 111 passes for 1,521 yards and 11 touchdowns.
