Houston Texans Morning Huddle--Guys on the Mend
Here are your daily Houston Texans stories for Thursday:
Miller and Fiedorowicz back at practice by Aaron Wilson, Houston Chronicle
“I think it’s important to have everybody healthy,” Texans coach Bill O’Brien said. “I think health is one of the keys to a successful season. Braxton, this was a guy who was coming along pretty well before the hamstring. Coming back from the hamstring, he’s got to get back in the swing of things. It looks like he was back into it and had a decent practice.”
Braxton Miller comes back not a second too soon for the Texans. He was an impact player in the preseason and his absence was noticeable during the first few weeks of the season. Miller will be an excellent player in the slot and give Brock Osweiler a few more easy throws, which should cut down on the number of interceptions.

Fiedorowicz is an interesting case because he finally looked like something at tight end last week. The injury cut his day short, but hopefully he finding his stride and will be able to give the Texans consistent threat at tight end.
Texans to face challenging defense by Drew Dougherty, Houstontexans.com
The undefeated Vikings have allowed just 12.5 points per game through the first quarter of the season. That’s the second-best mark in the NFL. They’re also a Top-10 defense in a slew of categories, including yards per game, rushing yards per game to passing yards per game. With an extremely disruptive front, Minnesota has a trio of players with at least three sacks in 2016. After seeing a steady diet of 3-4 defenses to begin the season, Texans head coach Bill O’Brien said the Vikings present a new wrinkle.
It is true that this is the first 4-3 defense that the Texans have seen this season. But that seems like simply a minute detail when looking at the pass rush and secondary they have.
