Peyton Hillis has found a new home.
The Kansas City Chiefs and Hillis agreed to terms on a contract, the team announced Wednesday.
Hillis, who will be reunited with former offensive coordinator Brian Daboll, gives the Chiefs another dimension to their running game.
He had a breakout season in 2010, running for 1,177 yards and 11 touchdowns, but had a setback in 2011. Hillis suffered from several injuries and an ongoing contract dispute that seemed to affect his play.
Hillis is known for his bruising style of running and it was speculated he would sign a short-term deal to increase his value into the market.
