Golden Tate has forced nearly two dozen missed tackles in 2015
When it comes to slippery wide receivers, very few are tougher to tackle than Golden Tate of the Detroit Lions. The 5-foot-10, 198-pound pass-catcher has incredibly quick feet, allowing him to cut on a dime and leave defenders grasping at air.
Tate has forced a whopping 23 missed tackles this season.
Via Pro Football Focus:
Tate still trails Calvin Johnson in yardage (720 to 1,000) and touchdowns (six to seven), but he is quickly becoming quarterback Matthew Stafford's favorite target. After leading the Lions with 99 receptions last season, he is leading the team once again this year with 82.
After playing his first four seasons with the Seattle Seahawks, Tate has only improved since signing with the Lions in March of 2014. The former second-round pick is only 27 years old, so he could be a part of Detroit's plans for the foreseeable future.
