Giants lose Justin Pugh to injury

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) New York Giants right tackle Justin Pugh left Sunday's game with the San Francisco 49ers in the second quarter with a quadriceps injury.

The second-year player was replaced by veteran Charles Brown. The Giants said Pugh would not return to the game.

Pugh has been a starter since he was drafted in the first round last year out of Syracuse. New York has had inconsistent offensive line play all season.
