Giants get Will Beatty back at practice on Wednesday
New York Giants offensive lineman Will Beatty will begin practicing with the team on Wednesday, opening up a three-week window for the team to add him to their 53-man active roster.
Beatty was arguably the team's best lineman in 2014, but he has spent the season on the physically unable to perform list after tearing his pectoral muscle while weightlifting in May.
Giants head coach Tom Coughlin has confirmed that the team will bring him along slowly.
"Beatty is starting on the clock and he’s going to begin, like I said the other day, very slowly," Coughlin said to reporters on Wednesday. "Individual work."
When he's ready for live game action, Beatty will most likely resume playing in his old spot at left tackle with rookie Ereck Flowers kicking over to right tackle.
