Four Steelers draftees make NFL.com's top 100 rookie list
Which rookies will make the biggest impact in 2015? According to a list from NFL.com, the first answer is unquestionably top overall pick Jameis Winston.
Four Steelers made the list, beginning with first-round selection Bud Dupree at No 24.
"Given recent departures, Dupree will have no choice but to play a big role for the Steelers' defense," wrote NFL.com's Bryan Fischer.
Next on the list at No. 39 is fifth-round pick Jesse James, who Fischer believes will make a biggest impact as a red-zone target for Ben Roethlisberger.
At No. 89 is sixth-rounder Anthony Chickillo. "He won't be on the field for every snap, but he can come in and solidify a spot by holding down an edge for the team's new-look defense."
Rounding out the Steelers' presence on the list is second-round corner Senquez Golson, who Fischer expects to have a large role right from the outset. "He'll be asked to help the re-tooling of the Steelers' secondary from the start, but he might get picked on by opposing quarterbacks."
Notably absent was third-round receiver Sammie Coates, especially since 19 receivers made the list, seven of which were drafted after Coates.
