Former Patriots LB Tedy Bruschi calls Dion Lewis 'Squirty'
With LeGarrette Blount suspended for the first game of the season, running back Dion Lewis burst onto the scene for the New England Patriots. He's only carried the ball 22 times in two games, but he's piled up 258 yards from scrimmage this season.
He's been the lead back for New England through two games and has caught the attention of many -- fantasy football players, included. His shiftiness and ability to catch the ball out of the backfield has made him the favorite in Bill Belichick's book, and it's also earned him a new nickname.
Former Patriots linebacker Tedy Bruschi supposedly calls Lewis "Squirty" because of his ability to squeeze through traffic.
It's probably not the toughest or most intimidating nickname in the world, but at least he's grabbed the attention of a Patriots legend.
