Falcons WR White, Packers CB Shields active
GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) Atlanta Falcons receiver Roddy White is active for Monday night's game at Green Bay, while cornerback Sam Shields is available for the Packers.
White was questionable after missing two days of practice the past week with a left ankle injury. White sat out Atlanta's previous game, a win over Arizona.
Robert Alford was declared out Saturday, depriving Atlanta of a starting cornerback for a third straight game because of a wrist injury. Alford could have helped against the Packers' potent offense.
For Green Bay, Shields has been cleared after suffering a concussion during last week's victory over New England.
Two other key defenders, tackle Mike Daniels (back) and linebacker Nick Perry (shoulder), also are active for the Packers.
