Falcons' LT Sam Baker to miss game at Miami

Published Sep. 20, 2013 4:11 p.m. ET

The Atlanta Falcons will be without left tackle Sam Baker in Sunday's game at Miami.

Baker missed practice all week with foot and knee injuries and was listed as out on Friday's injury report.

The Falcons have lost five starters to injuries this week. Defensive end Kroy Biermann (torn Achilles) and fullback Bradie Ewing (separated shoulder) are out for the season. Linebacker Sean Weatherspoon (foot) will miss two months. Running back Steven Jackson (hamstring) will miss at least one game.

Jeremy Trueblood, who signed with Atlanta on Sept. 3, could start at right tackle, where he played in seven seasons with Tampa Bay. Lamar Holmes could shift from right tackle to left tackle.
