Evan Mathis would fit in perfectly with the Denver Broncos
It's June 12th and the Broncos are already facing a less-than-desirable line situation.
Luckily for general manager John Elway, a solution just hit the market that fits the team's win-now approach.
Adding former Eagle Evan Mathis as a Peyton Manning protector is a no-brainer for Elway. He'd help rookie left tackle Ty Sambrailo on the left side of the line. He'd let unproven left guard Ben Garland return to a reserve role.
And Mathis thrived in the exact same scheme head coach Gary Kubiak is trying to install in Denver. As a zone-blocker, he was simply one of the best in the NFL.
Evan Mathis was our top graded OG from 2011-13, and was 2nd last year in just 9 games. Best OG in the game now available. #OnYourMarks

Elway has shown he can attract big-name guys to the Mile High City. His team desperately needs him to do it again and land Mathis.
