Eagles linebacker Nigel Bradham reportedly arrested on weapons charge
Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Nigel Bradham was arrested on a misdemeanor concealed weapons charge Sunday in Miami, according to court records obtained by USA Today.
"We are aware of the report regarding Nigel Bradham," Eagles spokesman Derek Boyko told the outlet Monday. "We have been in communication with Nigel and the authorities regarding the situation. As it is a pending legal matter, we will have no further comment at this time."
The news was first reported by TMZ.
This is the second time Bradham has been in trouble with the law since July. The 27-year-old linebacker was charged with aggravated assault in Miami over the summer.
Bradham was released on $500 bond after a loaded handgun was discovered in his backpack while he was at Miami International Airport, TMZ reported.
Bradham, who spent his first four years in the league with the Bills, signed a two-year deal with the Eagles in the offseason. The five-year linebacker has played in each of the Eagles three games this season, recording nine tackles and one interception.
