Eagles' Jackson passes concussion test

Philadelphia Eagles coach Andy Reid said star wide receiver DeSean Jackson passed his postconcussion test.

Reid made the announcement during his Monday radio show after saying earlier in the day that the speedy playmaker had yet to pass the test.

Jackson sustained the concussion after taking a vicious hit from Atlanta Falcons cornerback Dunta Robinson on Oct. 17. The blow knocked both players out of the game and Robinson received a $50,000 fine for the illegal hit.

Jackson sat out Sunday with lingering concussion symptoms and was sorely missed in the Eagles’ 37-19 loss to the Tennessee Titans.

Jackson figures to be back in the lineup with quarterback Michael Vick, who is recovering from a rib injury, after the team’s upcoming bye week.

Philadelphia (4-3) host the Indianapolis Colts on Nov. 7.
