Duke Johnson mistakenly kicked out of Miami game
By Dustin Tackett
Former Miami star running back Duke Johnson walked out of the tunnel inside Sun Life Stadium alongside his former team prior to Saturday’s game against Virginia, but things soon took an interesting turn.
According to Andy Slater, Johnson was approached by stadium security. They asked who he was and what he was doing there and, when they weren’t familiar with his name, asked a girl nearby if she was recognized him. The Cleveland Browns running back even asked security to talk to one of Miami’s coaches, but was denied and was asked to leave the stadium.

Johnson, who at one point on the field took a photo with Miami’s mascot Sebastian, handled the mistake like a professional and asked fans to do the same.

It’s a shame he was mistakenly kicked out, but he handled it as well as he possibly could have. Class act.
