Don't ask Charles Woodson about his two Peyton Manning picks
Charles Woodson would rather not hear about the great game he played on Sunday.
His two-interception afternoon went for naught. The Broncos still came into O.Co Coliseum and handed his Raiders another loss.
“Really, I don’t even want to talk about the interceptions because of the fact we did lose the game," Woodson told CSN Bay Area's Scott Bair. "It was all about winning the game."
Woodson did his part to topple the reigning AFC West champions. His defense kept Manning and Co. out of the end zone for 60 minutes of play.
They still lost. And now, after a week of building up to a Woodson-Manning clash, the veteran safety has to reconcile his play with his team's performance.
"Our mission is to win our division and the only way we can do that is to beat the team that’s won it the last few years," Woodson said. "Those things (interceptions) are the shiny things, shiny toys that you like, but it’s about wins and losses, man."
