Diehard Packers fans start tailgating at 6 a.m. despite snowstorm
The Green Bay Packers are fighting for their postseason lives in the final four weeks - and playing the 8-3-1 Seattle Seahawks on Sunday won’t help that matter. They’ll do so with a whole bunch of fluffy white snow on the ground, making for an even more interesting game between two NFC playoff contenders.
Lambeau Field has been blanketed with a sheet of snow already and it’s absolutely glorious.
A little bit of snow didn’t stop the Packer faithful from tailgating as they normally would with some showing up nine hours before the 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff. Just look at these crazy diehard fans fighting through the snow to party prior to the game.
The best part about the snowstorm isn’t that fans are braving the elements, or that Lambeau looks beautiful. It’s that the name of the winter storm is “Aaron.” Seriously.
What does this all mean?! Will Aaron Rodgers throw for 400 yards and five touchdowns against the Legion of Boom in the snow thanks to help from the appropriately named winter storm? No, it doesn’t mean that – and you should probably consider benching him in your fantasy league.
Green Bay is expected to get 5 to 8 inches of snow today, which should make for another magnificent game.
