Dez Bryant laments refs' decision: 'It was a catch'

Updated Mar. 5, 2020 1:24 a.m. ET

Dez Bryant wants an explanation from the referees.

The Cowboys wide receiver hauled in a pass against the Packers that would have put Dallas in position for a go-ahead touchdown late in the fourth quarter.

Originally ruled a catch, the refs overturned the play after review, saying Bryant didn't complete the process of the catch coming to the ground. It helped the Packers hold on for a 26-21 win.

Bryant, emotional after the game, disagreed, and said the refs robbed the Cowboys.

"It was a catch ...They took it away, so obviously it's because of them," he said. "I had possession of the ball coming down."

When he was asked if the better team won on Sunday, Bryant simply said: "No."

This reversal came a week after a picked up flag helped the Cowboys beat the Lions, who didn't forget that for a second.
