DeSean Jackson practices in pads at Redskins' Wednesday practice
Washington Redskins wide receiver DeSean Jackson was in full pads during Wednesday's practice for the first time since injuring his left hamstring.
Jackson was once again limited to individual drills, however, and he was held out of both team and one-on-one drills. Jackson did ramp things up a bit while running through the drills, but head coach Jay Gruden would not confirm if Jackson was on track to play in Week 6.
Gruden offered the team's Week 7 game at home against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a potential worst case scenario for when Jackson would return to the lineup.
If Jackson can't go in Week 6, the Redskins will use Pierre Garcon and Ryan Grant as their outside wide receivers with rookie Jamison Crowder in the slot. These are the same three receiver atop the depth chart for the last two games.
Jay Gruden says DeSean Jackson is slowly ramping things up and is starting to look better. Sounds like he's still day-to-day, tho. #Redskins
